Back country tour in the desert

We rode in a Humvee to Joshua Tree National Park.  It was a pretty neat experience to take the back country ride in a military-type vehicle.  If you didn't wear your seat belt, you would not have been able to remain in the vehicle!  We were at a point that you could see the mountains of Mexico if you looked real hard.  Here are some of the pics we were able to take during the tour.
